Mátra 115, 87, 55 Community Ultra Trail
The trail is a community event organized by the ultra trail (teljesítménytúra) community. If you can help us organize in any wait, please do not hesitate to contact us, we are glad for any help.
Everyone participates on his/her own responsibility. The organizers can not be held responsible for damages resulting from participation.
Registration: June 4 from 19:00 to 20:00 and June 5 from 6:00 to 6:45 (using the 24-hour notation) OR via email at this address robert.illes.1977 AT gmail.com
Fee: No fee for enrollment, only for some services. The condition of enrollment is a tray of home-made, heat-resistant cake in a transportable form. (If you are unable to bring home-made cakes, we shall also accept commercial ones). These cakes will be served at the checkpoints along the route.
Refreshment Sevices:
A part of the refreshment is donated by the organizers and by third parties. Additional refreshment is also provided with tickets available for purchase at the start.

Gyöngyöstarján (finish) - venison soup

Water will be available at all every refreshment points.
Transportation: There will be an extra bus for participants from Gyöngyös to Kisnána in the morning, for which you should please apply if you are interested (Koppány Keresztesi, keresztk AT gmail DOT com, +36-20-587-7144). We explicitly ask you to use public transportation if possible. If you come by car, leave it in Gyöngyös. Only a few cars can park in Gyöngyöstarján without disturbing the life of the village.
Accomodation: At the start and at the finish there will be possibilities to sleep in buildings (such as schools), however, you need to bring your own sleeping bag. Setting up tents is also possible. Commercial accomodation exists too, information is provided by Koppány Keresztesi, whose contact details are mentioned above.
Recommended equipment: Mátra-tourist map, flashlight (especially for the two longer distances).

The use of the organized depot for refreshment is recommended so that we do not generate unnecessary traffic on the roads of the Mátra. (This is not only important for the protection of the Mátra, but also for the protection of our event.)
We are not going to distribute disposable glasses and plates, we would like to avoid buying and distributing trash if possible. We will provide some washed up dishes at the checkpoints. These or your own dished can be used.
