Mátra 115 Community Trail
This trail is a communitiy trail, as the participants themselves organising the whole event for themselves. If you’d like to support it, please contact us, we count on your help!
This trail is only recommended for people in good health condition, no compensation fee is to be paid in case of injuries. The trail is extremely challenging, requires preparedness, so only recommended for experienced hikers and runners. Sign up for the trail in advance Confirmation of sign up will be in the start 2nd Juni 2017 (7 pm – 8 pm) – 3rd Juni 2017 (6 am – 6.45 am). The registration fee is a tray of home made cake, cookies or biscuits– please consider the temperature and transport when choosing the recipes (in case you can’t bake your own a shopped cake will do). These snacks will be distributed among the checkpoints. No money to be paid for the sign up. Supply and refreshment The basic supply is water and the cakes you bring with you, this is free of charge. The rest (different kinds of soup, fruits, tomato, isotonic drinks, juice, tea, snacks, bread with jam or lard etc.) can be requested for food ticket (costs 4500 HUF), that you can mark in the sign up form.
Transport: A Mátra 115 bus will be availabe on 3rd June from Budapest to Kisnána and from Gyöngyöspata and then Gyöngyös to Kisnána. You can request this service on the sign up form. Bus departure timetable: Budapest, Syma Hall (https://goo.gl/ysKKOW ) 5.00, Gyöngyöspata, Centre, Nandi vendégház, 5.20 Gyöngyös, Berze Nagy János Grammer School, 5.35. Arrival to Kisnána will be around 6.30 am. Accomodation: Both in the start and the finish you can sleep under roof for free, using your own equipment (the school in Kisnána, community centre in Gyöngyöspata). You can also sleep in your tent in both places (sleeping in tent in the Castle of Kisnána is priceless). For other types of accomodation you can turn to Keresztesi Koppány (keresztk at gmail.com). A one way transport of personal belongins will be available to the following checkpoints: Galyatető, Mátraháza, Mátraszentimre, Szoros-patak, Hidegkúti-th., Fajzatpuszta and Gyöngyöspata. Please avoid to transport your refreshment package or other equipments individually, and request our service in the start. It’s important for the equality among the participants. Lost and found things will possibly get to the finish after the checkpoint staff arrives to Gyöngyöspata, in case they don’t, then you’ll need to arrange to gather your belongings after the trail.

During the race you can choose two shorter track: 107 km, 5350m+ – same as Mátra 115 track between Kisnána to Kénes-spring (102 km), then directly to Gyöngyöspata. 92 km, 4530m+ szint – same as Mátra 115 track between Kisnána to Nagyparlag (85 km), then directly to Kénes-spring – Gyöngyöspata.
